Edwardian Town House
_

Like many town gardens, this relatively small space had to fulfil multiple roles; entertaining space, recreational lawn, access to work studio, and place to relax amongst beautiful, textural planting.

We kept the hard landscaping palette simple by using a dark porcelain with clean lines and bespoke mitred edges, which connects the new, crittal glass paneled kitchen to the stylish black timber office. Lighting adds a new dimension after dark, creating a cosy atmosphere.

Planted to create a sense of enclosure, we used pleached Malus trees, ferns, grasses and herbaceous perennials to create a beautiful contrast against the crisp hard detailing.

Gardening is the art that uses flowers & plants as paint, & the soil & sky as canvas
