Large Family Garden, St Albans
_

The owners of this recently refurbished Victorian house decided to re-design the borders on view from their newly fitted extension to fit in with their bespoke kitchen. One of the key design briefs was to have Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’ on view from the terrace during the summer months. For the new garden design we decided to keep the principal area as lawn and create deep generous planting borders close to the house with large masses of perennial planting. The planting uses a limited palette of colour with greens, purple and white featuring clipped Buxus, Salvia, Nepeta and Astrantia.
