The allotment

I have gardened for as long as I can remember and feel lucky to have found that passion. The reason gardening makes me feel so grounded is that it brings together the physical and the cerebral and acts as a form of meditation. I spend as much time as possible living outside because the garden draws me there.

I have always been a practical gardener as well as a designer, and I spend as much time as I can on my beautiful allotment in St Albans. I love to grow vegetables and annual flowers from seed producing a constant supply of cut flowers and fresh vegetables for my family home. The allotment also acts as a test site where I can trial new perennials and experiment with planting combinations.
