BESPOKE GARDEN DESIGN
_

Jen Berry Garden Design will oversee the design and construction of your garden from start to finish.

No two projects are the same and each requires a personalised input. The following acts as a guide to the design process from our initial meeting to completed garden.

_

STAGE 1. INITIAL CONSULTATION

The starting point for any new garden design is a site visit. This is our opportunity to explore your aspirations for the garden.

STAGE 2. SITE SURVEY & SITE ANALYSIS

A professional topographical survey is required - This records the existing landform, basic layout and the main artefacts and planting within the garden.

STAGE 3. CONCEPT PLAN

Once the design brief has been agreed a set of presentation drawings will be produced incorporating the outline design of the plan.

STAGE 4. PRESENTATION PLAN

The next stage is to prepare a Presentation Plan. This is an evolved version of the concept plan for the purpose of tender and construction. Will include specification of all proposed levels, a Setting Out Plan (dimensioned in millimetres) and a Scope of works for hard landscaping.

STAGE 5. PLANTING PLAN.

I work with a small selection of specialist trade nurseries to source the best possible plant specimens.  Once these have been selected I personally set out the specimens as per the planting plan and assist with planting up the garden.

STAGE 6. MONITORING THE CONSTRUCTION

_

The hard landscaping of your new garden will be realised by a professional trusted local team. I make regular site visits throughout this phase, checking the design as it comes to life.
